The best obstetrics and gynecology departments in Italy according to ONDa: Bollini Rosa 2016-2017

Which hospitals in Italy offer epidural analgesia services 24 hours a day ? The new incoming decree law should guarantee it for free in all maternity wards in Italy, but when?

Which obstetrics departments are most attentive to the needs of mother and child? Where can I have a water birth? Where can I donate the umbilical cord?

And again, where are these services followed with the right professionalism?

Direct experience is usually our best adviser but not being able to try them all in person, for obvious reasons, we can rely on a very useful service managed by  ONDa : the National Observatory on Women’s Health.

ONDa has devised a  referral program for hospitals based on their level of “women friendship”. ONDa has awarded the Pink Sticker to hospitals that pay the utmost attention not only to the treatment of female pathologies but also to how hospitalized women are managed and treated  .

The hospitals awarded this stamp are cutting-edge clinical and scientific realities in Italy and which are managed on a women’s scale. We will limit ourselves to mentioning only those awarded the Pink Stamp for the department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, Neonatology and Reproductive Medicine.

Give your opinion!

The real judges of hospital services are obviously the patients, so we would like to receive your opinion to understand whether or not these pink dots reflect the reality of the facts.

  2. appropriateness of the diagnostic-therapeutic path, to be understood as a guarantee of a specific and accurate clinical approach to the pathology in relation to the needs and psycho-physical characteristics of the woman;
