Satisfying sexuality after childbirth with Ericksonian hypnosis

Claudia has recently become a mother and sexuality which was once one of the couple’s great strengths, a resource for cultivating understanding and complicity, is now completely unsatisfactory. Is it really just a situation related to fatigue? And if the couple were to move away?

Undoubtedly, fatigue and hormonal changes that persist for at least a year after giving birth can be a challenge. In fact, almost 80% of women struggle to recover their sexuality and intimacy with their partner after childbirth .

Mind-body bridge

Through hypnosis and self-hypnosis it is possible to learn to walk the mind-body bridge and to act on many aspects concerning sexuality.

These interventions make it possible to amplify the pleasure experienced during sexual intercourse, experience a deeper sense of intimacy with one’s partner, intervene on the level of sexual desire of the individual or couple and build a satisfying way of making love.

Hypnosis can be used to overcome difficulties that prevent the full enjoyment of sexual experiences: pain during intercourse, difficulty initiating or letting go of intercourse, reduced sexual desire and overcoming any traumatic events related to childbirth .

Work on body image

In many cases it can also be useful to work on the woman’s body image.

The body undergoes profound changes during pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding.

These bodily changes are often transient, and many women may find themselves more attractive and feminine after pregnancy. However, bodily modifications are accompanied by even more radical changes with respect to one’s identity as a woman and it is not always easy to find a new balance, even if that child was so desired.

Hypnosis and self-hypnosis techniques favor the integration of the body image of oneself with a wider narration of one’s identity. Through Ericksonian hypnosis changes in self-perception can be activated in order to make it more functional. Furthermore, changes in lifestyle are also promoted in order to obtain greater well-being and physical harmony.
