Retroverted or retroflexed uterus and fertility problems
Many aspiring mothers write to us worried about having a retroverted uterus. That’s why I asked Dr. Tinelli, a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, to clarify once and for all that the uterus in this position does not cause any fertility problems:
- A: normal position: anteverse
- B: anteflesso
- C: retroverso
- D: retroflesso
“ The retroverted uterus, i.e. the body of the uterus facing backwards makes an angle of less than 120° with the uterine neck, is a variant of the normality of the normal position of the uterus which is anteverted.
