Readings for mothers and parents: ““The Mommy Docs Ultimate Guide to Pregnancy and Birth””
Three Californian gynecologists, after giving birth to thousands of children and therefore getting to know the world of pregnancy closely, have decided to write a book to debunk the classic myths that we have been carrying around for generations. From the cover they look like they came straight from Grey’s Anatomy, right?
It is “The Mommy Docs Ultimate Guide to Pregnancy and Birth” .
But what are these myths? They are the ones who, as soon as the test is positive, make you transform your pregnancy into 9 months of prohibitions: no sex, no cats, no heels, no nothing…
To help come these three champions of glamorous pregnancy, who in Charlie’s Angels style tell us that Victoria Beckham is right to wear spiked heels. That smoked salmon is good because it is rich in omega 3 but better to avoid mackerel, shark and swordfish. That sex is a panacea, that you can sleep in the position you like best, that cocoa butter is useless against stretch marks….in short, lots of useful food for thought!
And it is enough to think that the sex of the unborn child can be deduced from the shape of the belly! Put your heart in peace but there is nothing scientific about the shape! And eat for 2? you don’t know how many times they repeated it to me… nothing could be more wrong! just eat for 1 plus 1/5. Long live fractions!
The book is not yet on sale in Italy but it will certainly be soon!
