Readings for moms and tummies: the perfect mom doesn’t exist
Kristine Carlson, author of several “survival manuals” with motherhood, being a woman, and love as their main theme, presents another bestseller which, like the others, will surely be translated all over the world.
It is about “The perfect mother does not exist, 99 tips to not go crazy and find serenity in the family”
Kristine Carlson, American born in 1963, has been a guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show several times , and in 2010 Carson was awarded an honorary degree at John F. Kennedy University.
The book is completely focused on motherhood, a guide for all mothers with children of all ages, and has the great claim to teach how to achieve a peaceful and fulfilling family life.
I haven’t read it yet although I’m curious. Have I found the magic formula? maybe…
It is clear to all that the perfect mother does not exist, but it is possible to find the right balance to be a better mother and woman and consequently live peacefully with the family.
Carlson in her book tries to give advice and suggestions to help moms improve with practical indications that respond to concrete examples, daily episodes that every mom is faced with sooner or later. The book therefore presents itself as a guide that makes her simplicity and immediacy her main strength.
There are four basic rules:
– Be a mom, not a friend.
– Find the balance between being a mother and being a woman.
– Follow your passions but not at the expense of your children.
– Reclaim your family life.
And with these assumptions that seem obvious but aren’t at all… I run to the bookstore.
