Photos in pregnancy: posture
Taking a few pictures during pregnancy is important to preserve a visual memory of one of the most important periods of life. But how do you take beautiful pictures with your baby bump? In addition to relying on a professional photographer, if you want a real album, there are small tips to follow for posture.
Posture for photos in pregnancy
Posture during a photo is essential to achieve maximum expressiveness.
Let’s remember that a photo is an image on a flat sheet, while your belly is nice round. How to make it in photos in the best way?
CandyFields has a whole tutorial on postures for pregnant photos, and with their permission, I propose their suggestions for standing photos.
The number one posture, on the side, is not recommended precisely because it tends to lose effectiveness in representing the belly. It’s okay though if you’re taking a silhouette photo.
The other postures, as you can see, provide that the torso is three-quarters, the legs offset and the shadows on the belly will give a greater without three-dimensionality and movement.
Clearly it would help a lot to play with lights, but none of us has a photo studio at home, so we can be content to better capture our wonderful pregnancy. And beware that it passes quickly!
Tip: take selfies
Just to experiment with these poses, take self-portraits. Find a room large enough or a garden or terrace. All phones have the self-timer function , often also repeated so you don’t have to go and “click” every time.
In our Pinterest channel you can find some photo ideas for pregnancy and going around the net you will find many others from which to take inspiration!
Instruments
Get yourself a small tripod and a hook for mobile phones, they are easily found and are cheap and… They will come in handy on many other occasions! Some even have a small remote control included that makes everything even easier.
