Fruit for children: recipes and ideas for preparing fresh and tasty snacks!
We all know that fruit and vegetables are the greatest and natural source of fiber and vitamins. This is why it would be important for children to eat at least a little every day, especially in the summer. Much to the parents’ regret, however, many children do not like to eat it. Thus comes the plan B.
A good plan B to be able to get children to eat fruit is not made up of constraints and threats, but of a whole series of behaviors designed to teach children to eat and appreciate fruit as it is.
In addition to setting a good example (we can’t expect children to eat fruit if we don’t do it ourselves), we can:
- involve them in the kitchen in the preparation of fruit,
- let them eat fruit between meals ,
- put a little fruit on the plate ,
- play with shapes and colors,
- vary often or at least let them eat the fruit they like best.

- a nice and very fresh ” fake pizza with watermelon ” (let the children choose which flavors they prefer);
- fruit salads and creative fruit salads for children, where the small pieces of fruit will be cut into the shape of stars, teddy bears, hearts (just use the cookie cutters to get the most curious shapes);
- cones with chunks of fruit (just use an ice cream cone as a container and eating the fruit will be a whole other story!)
