Embroidering the Layette: cross-stitch patterns by birth
Whether you’re preparing the layette for your baby or you’re looking for some ideas to give for a birth, seriously consider spending a few hours embroidering cross-stitch.
The thing, in addition to being extremely relaxing and enjoyable, is also very rewarding. In fact, embroidering by hand one or more items of the layette of your baby or that of a dear friend will receive a lot of compliments and you can only gloat (but if you embroider I bet you already know this).
With the cross stitch you can customize many beautiful little things, but obviously to do so you need patterns to follow.
If you have never embroidered I suggest you start with easy cross-stitch patterns like those with animal drawings that I published some time ago. If, on the other hand, you have been embroidering for a while, you will have no problem following the ones I have prepared for you today.
Cross-stitch patterns for birth
For all the friends of Fertile Period who intend to try their hand at needle, thread and canvas Aida, I have prepared a PDF to download and print for free in which I have collected 5 drawings themed “newborns” with the relative cross-stitch patterns.
In the PDF you will find the pattern to embroider a pacifier (whose colors can be changed as desired), a pink bow and a blue bow and two babies that can be embroidered individually or together as seen in the diagram, in the case of birth of twins.
