Electric brooms: 5 top models for quick cleaning

Are you recently pregnant or a mum and want help to speed up cleaning? Here are some tips and electric brooms that can help you.

Anyone who is a parent surely knows that cleaning and sanitizing are two very important tasks to do every day. In fact, the immune system of small children is not yet able to fight 100% allergens and bacteria, so it is better to keep all the rooms in the house clean and fresh.

Well, this is the theory…putting it into practice is a difficult task.
Surely among all the possible cleanings – like tidying up the bedroom , dusting the furniture,  sanitizing with steam – sweeping and cleaning the floors is certainly the most necessary.

In fact, children are known, either because they crawl, or because they fall, or because it is the most comfortable place to play, they have a marked “attraction” for floors. For this reason, having an electric broom in the house could be of great help.

Best electric brooms: information and advice

Below I want to give you some information not only on the best-selling models of electric brooms and preferred by mothers but also my opinion on the matter.

Electric broom, is it convenient?

Having had a trolley vacuum cleaner and three electric brooms, all different from each other, both in terms of performance and price range, I can say that I have an idea on the subject.

Lightness and comfort

Compared to the traditional vacuum cleaner (the one that is towed) the electric broom is used much more . In fact, being a vertical vacuum cleaner and generally also cordless, it is always ready for use just like a normal broom. In fact, you don’t have to mount pipes, you don’t have to plug and unplug the electrical outlet from room to room, you don’t have to put it away in the closet every time. In short, electric brooms have the lightness and convenience of a broom (at least the models with battery) and guarantee the cleanliness of a vacuum cleaner , provided the motor is quite powerful.

savings

The latest models of electric brooms are also bagless as the dust and dirt are collected in a container which can then be emptied. This allows not only a considerable saving of time and money (the bags in fact cost a lot) but avoids the hassle of being left without a bag when you least expect it.

Combined solutions

Having the opportunity to invest in this appliance, I also recommend evaluating the purchase of an electric broom with combined solutions and other accessories such as the handheld vacuum cleaner, the roller brush, etc. In fact, with these you can do, in addition to the floor, other types of cleaning such as easily cleaning bookcases, sofas, car seats, curtains and other hard-to-reach places.

Price differences

If you have had the opportunity to inform yourself, you will have noticed that there are electric brooms on the market ranging from 60 to even over 500 euros.
What’s the difference? It lies in the technology of the motor (therefore in the performance), in the quality of the materials (therefore in the life span of the broom), in the safety, in the reliability of the brand .
My first broom, for example, was a cheap model and actually didn’t last very long, while the last one I had was several years ago and I still use it today. So spending more or less is up to everyone’s needs. If you want to save money, you can choose an economic model, but if you want to spend only once, it is better to spend a little more.

Conclusions

So to those who ask me if the electric broom is useful, in my experience I say yes. Its ease of use is a boon for both a pregnant woman and a mother who needs to do quick cleaning.
For example, after trying an electric broom, I never went back to the traditional vacuum cleaner. It is also true, however, that from a rather cheap broom model (like the very first Colombine) I moved on to more and more powerful brooms up to the top like the Dyson.
