45 (and more) educational APPs for children, instructive and fun!
Collection of educational apps for children suitable not only for entertaining the little ones, but above all useful for stimulating cognitive activities and creating educational and fun moments.
You have probably handed your phone to the children several times because you were busy and let them play to entertain them.
Know that if you then feel guilty… you are not alone.
However, to ensure that the time children spend in front of a monitor is not wasted or harmful but productive and enjoyable, you can make the phone or tablet become a learning tool. In fact, there are educational apps for children that are useful for stimulating cognitive activities and creating educational and fun moments.
Certainly this does not mean that we can leave children with smartphones and tablets in their hands as long as it suits us. As in all things, we need to limit the use of these devices by our children, who must in any case be educated in the responsible use of technology.
And on our part, however, there must be the awareness that the younger the children are, the more necessary our presence is to act as their guide and support.
Instructive and fun educational app for kids
Technology is more important today than ever and has entered, willy-nilly, into all areas of our lives, including the education of children.
In this post, therefore, I have collected some of the best educational apps for kids through which kids can learn new things and have fun at the same time.
The topics that the following applications cover are varied and are suitable for different age groups.
They range from apps for young children that teach the learning of shapes, colours, animal sounds, to apps for preschoolers such as those that teach drawing and colouring, counting and recognizing the letters of the alphabet.
There are also apps for school-age children that are useful for learning Italian correctly and apps that familiarize children with foreign languages, or those that stimulate interpersonal skills and fun games that are useful for stimulating creativity.
The only note to pay attention to is that free applications (precisely because they are free) may contain advertisements.
App to learn shapes
Learning shapes is an activity that children do from an early age, starting with manual games where children have to insert blocks of various shapes into the corresponding hole.
Well, there are many apps that teach the little ones not only to recognize, call and draw the various geometric shapes with fun learning games but also to develop motor skills, logic and memory. Here are some useful applications:

However, there are also many applications designed specifically for preschoolers that teach the sounds and names of the main animals. They are often free and have very attractive graphics and are very stimulating. For example you can try:

App to learn to draw and color
We all had coloring books in our childhood and we still buy them for our children today. However, technology today also offers us many applications to bring children closer to drawing. I find that this type of app for children is the right compromise between using a modern medium and the classic game like drawing and coloring a drawing.
Below are some very cool and fun drawing and coloring apps that will surely encourage an interest in drawing and painting in children. Children can use them alone or having fun with you parents.

App to learn to read and write
There are so many applications to introduce children to writing and reading . Unfortunately, however, it is difficult to find good apps that are in Italian and that teach the correct pronunciation of the letters of the alphabet in Italian.
However, I have selected a few and luckily they are beautiful and fun apps in Italian that can help children aged 3 to 6 take their first steps in reading and writing. Children can use them on their own, but you should be present to supervise the activity especially if the children are small.

App for learning foreign languages
It is good not to be under any illusions and to be clear that apps that teach foreign languages can never be compared to a real lesson with native speakers. But it must be said that if used correctly they can prove to be very useful in making children become familiar with a second language and in learning simple words by listening to sounds, viewing images, doing fun but increasingly challenging exercises. The apps I have found are quite well known and appreciated apps because they combine learning with playing, so that the process of speaking or understanding another language becomes natural and fun instead of a heavy and boring task as adults sometimes do .
