Ecological games: wood and organic cotton to have fun in safety
After writing the article on toys made in China and the dangers of materials used by Chinese industries (those that are not very serious) I could not help wondering how safe and maybe even ecological toys can be found.
On the net there are several sites that offer toys made with wood, fabric, paper and other natural materials, limiting the use of plastic as much as possible. One of these is Let’s Play Together by Barbara that I met at a gathering of mothers.
The philosophy of Let’s play together is as simple as it is effective: selecting the best brands of toys that use ecological and safe materials for our children’s games. Among the brands we find Käthe Kruse, Hape International, Djeco, Pintoy, Joyk, Gowi, Kidkraft.
And since we are near Christmas, here are some games that you can view and buy on the site.
Dream play kitchens
There’s no child who doesn’t enjoy playing with a kitchen, whether it’s a boy or a girl, because imitating mom is the favorite pastime of many children.
Look at the one in the photo (one of the most beautiful): real doors with lots of compartments, the microwave, the oven and the fridge, the removable sink (yes, cleaning is always up to the parents and it better be simple). Made of KidKraft wood . Find it here .
The toy piano for young talents
A piano to intrude into the world of music and notes: it’s a Schoenhut toypiano, a hammer piano with an unmistakable sound and is ideal for playing music and learning to coordinate. Find it here .Many other games, also in wood or organic cotton, are available on the Let’s Play Together site: dollhouse, fire and police station and even games for the very young (zero years) who have not yet learned to toddle!
