- four-wheeled strollers: a classic city car stroller, it is found in many different models, including modular ones, according to various needs.
- duo stroller : it is a combined system, i.e. made up of a frame on which the carrycot and the egg (car seat) or the egg and the stroller can be mounted.
- trio stroller : it is a modular system made up of a frame on which the carrycot, the stroller and the baby seat can be mounted.

What to look for in a stroller
Once you’ve figured out the type of stroller you need, here’s what to look for in a stroller:
- safety : the strollers on the market (at least those of the best-known brands) are tested and certified according to European standards. If in doubt, however, ask for information about it. This is especially true if the stroller also includes an infant carrier or car seat;
- comfort : a stroller must be extremely comfortable for the child, therefore it is better if the seat is reclining, the mattress soft and breathable, suitable for all seasons;
- lightness : given that a stroller cannot be driven, pushed or folded by itself, it should be light and easy to handle;
- practicality: a good stroller must be practical, i.e. easy to close and not too bulky;
- easy to clean / wash : strollers get very dirty so it is good to find out if the fabric is washable or how to clean it;
- good value for money.
