At the movies with the kids: Kung Fu Panda 2 and Barbie’s Perfect Christmas
Here are two beautiful Universal DVDs that we munched on the couch during the Christmas holidays. Yes, because movies for my children movies on TV = popcorn = a lot of crumbs on the sofa and carpet = fun. In short, they took everything from their mother 😉
Since we spent most of the holidays sick, we dedicated a whole afternoon to movies. Francesco wanted to see the adventures of the very nice Po and Veronica, his beloved Barbie. So not to hurt anyone and since you could not go out because of the flu … We literally made ourselves a full immersion of cartoons.
Blinds down, smell of popcorn strictly in the microwave, sofa and cover and two DVDs in a row. The advantage of seasonal ailments is this 🙂
Between the two, despite Veronica’s passion for Barbie, Kung Fu Panda 2 was most appreciated, at least according to the “laughter” of the house.
The crystalline laughter of the children who followed the vicissitudes of the bungling Panda but with a huge heart, and above all the constant attention throughout the film by Francesco who usually gets up after 10 minutes and starts playing his games, were a clear indication of success.
I must say that Kung Fu Panda 2 I liked much more than the first, excellent graphics, compelling script .. Maybe a bit complicated in certain passages for children, who still receive additional explanations from us parents. In fact, the most susceptible children could be a little scared in front of the escrito of bad wolves but in the end they show their good side. Seen in high definition it is superb!
The Blue ray version also contains extra special features such as
- Panda Stories (HD)
- The Kung Fu Game:
- NÄ Hăo – Learn to speak Chinese
- The Animators’ Corner
- Quizzes and Curiosities
- Animation Inspiration (HD)
Barbie and the Perfect Christmas, on the other hand, is the classic Christmas story with a happy ending where, however, the good feelings and the value of family ties are highlighted. An extremely modern story since the protagonists were experts in podcasts and blogs. In short, Of course Veronica did not breathe for the duration of the film, including the ending theme … because when it comes to Barbie… You don’t throw away even a second :). A film for girls to see and review every year under the tree.
