Air in the belly and constipation during pregnancy

Many pregnant women suffer from constipation and aerophagia or flatulence. A very annoying condition that often worries the expectant mother. These annoyances are often accompanied by abdominal pains that alarm the pregnant woman by confusing them with premature contractions.

The slowdown in intestinal activity is mainly caused by hormonal action. The main reason is that in this way, with a slow passage through the intestine, the mother absorbs more nutrients necessary for the growth of the baby. However, this condition often leads to difficulty evacuating and flatulence due to the prolonged stagnation of feces in the intestine.

How to reduce these symptoms?

The main thing to do is take care, as always, of nutrition. So eat healthy foods rich in fiber such as grains, fruits and vegetables. To be avoided, however, cabbage and beans… 🙂

During meals, try to eat slowly, chew well and avoid swallowing air. In short, if you have to chat animatedly, wait until you have finished the dish!!!

It is also very important to drink plenty, and always a glass of water as soon as you get up. I know that for those with nausea it is a problem … but try to do it, it is very useful!

Moderate exercise, such as walking, can help.

And finally the routine … even our intestines need it and it would be very useful to educate it to do its homework at the same time every time.

A help to me came from the pc. After breakfast I sat down at the PC, more or less always at the same time and…magic!
