A mentorship project dedicated to mothers to relocate professionally
The initiative is called Together We Can and is part of the commitment that Chicco, through the MammaE campaign, has been carrying out for some time in support of women’s freedom of choice, because a woman’s aspirations are not and must not be incompatible with her choice of motherhood . Every woman must feel free to be able to realize herself in every dimension of her.
It is a completely free mentorship project dedicated to unemployed or badly employed mothers created in collaboration with Piano C , an association that deals with professional redesign, training and female empowerment.
“The pandemic context and the global crisis have highlighted once again how much female professional growth, and especially that of mothers, is more penalized in our society. – commented Sofia Borri, President of Piano C Factory – Collaborating in this historic moment with a reality like Chicco, for the creation of a path of concrete support for mothers, is an indicator of how much virtuous alliances can lay the foundations for real change .”
”Through the mentorship program within Together We Can we want to give women the tools to recognize their abilities and make the most of them in the world of work and in society. – says Federica Padoa, Artsana Brands & Portfolio Director – Like Chicco we firmly believe in this project and are proud to support a path in which women trainers will support other women in building their own professional identity, in line with their talents, desires and goals. Because together we can”
The professional redesign process promoted by Chicco and managed by Plan C is divided into three phases:
- until 18 June it will be possible to submit your application
- on 7 July the first selection of 40 women will be announced who will have the opportunity to take part in two online training webinars which will also be an opportunity for the trainers to get to know the candidates in more detail and select the 15 finalists from among them;
- on 22 July the candidates will receive notification of the outcome of the second and last selection. The finalists will then have access, starting from the month of September, to the complete redesign process, lasting 3 months.
To participate in the selections, you must be the mother of a child aged between 3 months and 10 years, be unemployed, badly employed, in a fragile or unstable job position and not have other active outplacement programmes.
