As the end of pregnancy approaches, every woman generally begins to think more and more intensely about what her life will be like in the postpartum period . Among the many things that go through your head, there is almost always the desire to regain control of your appearance as soon as possible , go back to wearing your old clothes, feel beautiful again.

This doesn’t mean that you have to try to “be beautiful” at any cost, but to “feel beautiful” which is a different thing. It simply means that it would be better if during the day you were able to dedicate some time to yourself and to taking care of your body. This will also be good for your morale which in turn will enhance your outer radiance. In short, a chain of positive effects that you can feed every day.

  • Take a flash shower as soon as you wake up in the morning

    Yes, said that it seems obvious, but it doesn’t always happen. Take it as a regular appointment. This will help you feel fresh and clean (something you really need especially if you are breastfeeding) and start the day with that extra sprint that will avoid you going around the house at noon still in your pajamas, which is no good at all to morale.

  • Prepare a quick beauty kit

    All you need is a clutch bag containing a few but essential beauty products to always keep close at hand. You will save time in the bathroom and will allow you to put on just the little make-up you need every day … even if it were just to take a souvenir photo with the baby.

  • Mascara always!

    If you really don’t have time to put on makeup, find two minutes every day to put on mascara . This will instantly make you look less tired.

  • Keep your hair tidy

  • Resume physical activity

  • Wait to put on your old clothes

    Don’t pay attention to all these VIP moms showing up on the web two weeks after giving birth in a bikini and a flat stomach! They often cheat.
    Consider that you have had a baby and it is normal for your body to show signs of it, so don’t get discouraged. If you gained too many kilos during pregnancy, wearing clothes that fit you tight will make you look even more plump and your morale won’t help. For the first few times, it’s better to feel comfortable and buy new, beautiful clothes that you like but in your new size, not the previous one.

  • Comfortable and feminine underwear and lingerie

    Having just given birth does not mean that you can no longer wear feminine and sensual underwear. On the contrary, generous breasts and round shapes can be a fun creative challenge to dress comfortably and feel beautiful. There is currently suitable underwear on the market and it has nothing to envy to the “normal” one. You can really find so many models, styles and designs to satisfy all tastes.

  • Work on your strengths and cheat a little

    If you don’t like your belly, hips or legs or other points of your body, try to understand what your strengths are (eyes, hair, hands, breasts…) and highlight those. A beautiful make-up, a particular hairstyle or a generous neckline can take the eyes off what you currently consider your weak points.

  • Try to rest as much as possible

    And, if you have other children, take advantage of the arms of the father or of some family member who gives you a hand. Resting as much as possible is necessary in order not to collapse but it also helps to keep the skin fresh and toned.

  • Resume an active life and don’t lock yourself up at home

    Don’t let yourself go and set small daily goals different from those that home life forces you to do. Go for walks, if possible visit colleagues and friends, make an appointment with the midwife for re-education of the perineum (great thing to do). In short, make an effort, at least once a day, to go out and look good (obviously don’t go out without wearing make-up and jogging suits ).

  • Have a relaxing massage

    In the postpartum period relaxation and massages are panaceas for your well-being and your beauty. Take the opportunity to treat yourself to a nice relaxation and beauty package in a spa or let your partner give you a nice shiatsu massage . It could be the right opportunity to rediscover that intimacy that in this period is struggling to resume.
